Becki Newton

Becki lived at Guilford, Connecticut. The first time she performed in the local plays and summer stock shows at the age of thirteen. Her studies included many years of European History in the University of Pennsylvania. After graduation, Becki immediately moved to NYC to follow her dream of Broadway. After appearing on a variety of national commercials and guest starring parts, such as Cold Case (2003), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), as well as American Dreams (2002), she was offered the role of Amanda in Ugly Betty (2006). Their brother Matt Newton is an actor and her husband Chris Diamantopoulos. The beautiful women I've met are not always supermodels. It's great that I don't have to worry about the red carpet at work because I am not an expert. Yet, I don't like taking chances in the realm of beauty. Beauty makes you smile! It's fun to dress up! isn't about putting up with fuss and taking good proper care of myself. It's fine to be a slightly giddy. She received an Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature at the University of Pennsylvania after growing as a child in New York City.
